Two Flamingoes

Like many of my pieces this one has been in the works for a while. I’ve wanted to paint a flamingo painting for a long time but was unsure how to go about it. My big reservation was trying to show the beautiful long neck of the bird when I normally paint with my card in landscape mode. So I had this horizontally sometimes in portrait mode and also upside down. That is because of the limitations of how far I can reach. It was a challenge and very tiring but I was happy with the end result.
