Blue Cockatoo

Although the Cockatoo is a beautiful bird with its white feathers I wanted to add some colour as well as try using an orange background for the first time. I tried to create as much texture as I could with the feathers as well as accentuating the birds rising feathers on its head. It was a lot of fun to paint.
