Lockdown gave me lots of time to paint and to think about what I want to paint. It made me think about trying new things. Again looking back through what I had already painted I was looking for a way to progress to something new. So I decided to paint black and white on a coloured background and, like my original stag painting, focusing a lot on the antlers.
