Green Red Squirrel

I have spent many hours watching the squirrels in our garden running around, burying, or eating nuts and it’s always a joy to see. And having spent more time than usual at home and staring at nature in the garden I thought it felt right to paint one. However I decided on a Red Squirrel instead as they are so rare but far more interesting with their pointy ears and very fuzzy tail. The colour combo was completely random and just something new I wanted to try.
