Orange Owl

Orange Owl – This painting was a real challenge for me. It took a lot longer than I normally take to paint an animal and I’ve never made so many adjustments either. I couldn’t get the colours or shape right and it just kept expanding. The thing I wanted most was that stare and look an owl has. I think I’m happy with the final piece.
