Six Chillies

More homegrown chillies. These are two types of chillies I grew that didn’t reach full size but looked so good, with the large green stalk contrasting with the chillies. I made sure to photograph them under bright light to enhance the shadows and bring out the colour of the chillies.
The red background was used to emphasise the heat, but also to harmonise with the yellows and oranges in the chillies themselves. It took a long time to get the shading and colours correct, but I really love the outcome. I got the chance to experiment with colours and paints I hadn’t used before.
