The Golden Fields

The fields behind my parents house are fields of rapeseed. They shine like gold under the sun and make everything look brighter no matter the weather. I wanted to capture those long rolling fields beckoning the start of summer.

It was a fun one to paint and to try and create the different perspectives from the far distant to the close up. Trying to figure out what details to leave out and which to keep or emphasise. It was a new challenge for me.
