Ice cream

I loved painting this, but it came with a lot of jeopardy, which scared me but tested me, and I’m super happy with the result. It’s not often I can really say that.
I started with the ice cream, then moved on to the sauce, trying to get texture both above the glass level and flat against the glass. Then came the bit that scared me: the glass. I went so slow trying to get it perfectly symmetrical and actually looking like glass. I worked out that less was more. The negative space does a lot of heavy lifting here. Finally, the cherry on top: I could relax then and enjoy it.
