The Sunflower

I chose to paint a sunflower as I had painted natural objects and landscapes a few times but never focused on plants. One of the first things I ever painted was a still life of sunflowers when I was seven years old. I wanted to try it again. I loved painting this image because of the colours and joy it represents.
