Trying to decide the colour scheme for this took me ages. I knew I wanted to make the painting a bit more abstract.
I kept playing with the possible colour choices on my iPad. Eventually there were two options one was purple, pink and black, the other was green, yellow and black. You can see from the painting what I chose but I can’t tell you how long it took to decide. I only decided about a minute before I started. Who knows a purple and pink version might pop up in the future.

The toughest bit of this painting was to make the fur on it’s head look like fur. It took a very dry, long, brush with paint on the tip. I bent the brush and shook my head side to side not knowing how it would look. But thankfully it worked.
