Tuna

£37.50£2,250.00

The best laid plans often go awry.

This painting is far removed from my first attempt at painting a tuna. It was originally meant to be on a black background and painted in bright vibrant colours. However, it did not work. At all. But I was in painting mode and wanted to paint a tuna so quickly chose the green card and started with the white paint knowing I would be adding black but wasn’t sure of the third colour.

The white was used as a representation of the skeleton of the fish shaping and acting as a frame for the other colours. The black and pink followed the different colours and patterns on the body of the tuna.
