Moonlight over the sea

About 5 years ago I painted the sunset over the sea and really enjoyed it.  And people seemed to really respond to it. So I wanted to revisit the subject but using moonlight instead of sunlight this time. I wanted to create a shadowy atmosphere. I painted it all on white background to help bring out the lighter brighter colours as a contrast to the shadows. All the black on the painting was painted in to emphasise the contrast.
