Inspired by a television series.
I say that, the colours were inspired by watching a very cool series about the rise of the Lakers dynasty (the LA basketball team). Every time I saw the purple writing on the yellow jersey I kept thinking how much I loved that combination and wanted to paint using those colours.
A giraffe kept coming up in my mind because I loved painting the blue giraffe but stayed away from giraffes because I couldn’t match what I achieved with the first one. But this time I thought why not? and went ahead and got stuck in.
