The Blue Walrus

A rare commission I took because it sounded like it would be an interesting one so I thought I’d give it ago. And I am very happy I did accept it.

We spoke a lot about colour combinations and what would best and the blue was actually the clients choice and it’s not a combo I had used before. The main focus was the rough skin, tusks and whiskers.

It is painted with two blues (primary and indigo), permanent white and a tiny bit of black for the eye.
