I wanted to create a painting about the positivity I felt in lockdown, as someone who couldn’t leave home for 6 months. The time I suddenly had to paint. The gratitude I felt for the copious amounts of sunshine and its golden glow. Time to sit in the garden and be with nature. And time to recalibrate and think about the important things in life. The little big things.
